Introduction to the role of a Veterinary Technician Specialists (VTS), including an overview of the Academy of Internal Medicine for Veterinary Technicians (AIMVT). This session will provide an overview of the VTS application process for both academies. Participants will then attend breakout sessions focused on individual AIMVT specialty areas (small animal internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, neurology, large animal internal medicine, equine internal medicine, and production internal medicine) as well as veterinary nutrition.

Upon completion, participant will be able to understand process of applying for a VTS within AIMVT
