This session will describe the criteria for establishing a diagnosis of Canine Cognitive Dysfunction Syndrome with two levels of certainty, allowing all patients to be evaluated. The practical implications of regular screening will be discussed and the ways in which these guidelines can be incorporated into senior care appointments.

The participant will be able to define Canine Cognitive Dysfunction Syndrome (CCDS) and describe 3 levels of severity.
The participant will understand how to implement and interpret the specific diagnostic criteria for CCDS.
