Presentation Description / Summary: Knowledge of cardiovascular pathology is critical when relying on echocardiography, radiography, and CT to diagnose and treat heart disease. Indeed, patient care is optimized when clinicians have direct knowledge of what gross pathologic lesions look like.

Recognize, define, and quantitate congenital and acquired cardiovascular disease.
Identify and quantify cardiopulmonary comorbidities
understand and compare structural traits, variability, and degrees of severity of myxomatous valve disease, cardiomyopathy, cardiac neoplasia, valve infection, interstitial and bronchopneumonia, and congenital heart lesions.
