Presentation Description / Summary: The role of nutrition in canine and feline pancreatitis cases is a mainstay of short and long-term management. Differences in nutrition for canine versus feline are significant. Ultimately, this has concerned fat content and the types of fats. More recent discussions have been concerning the individual's response to fats consumed and the circulating levels of triglycerides in the blood. Some dogs respond very well to fat-restricted diets, some don't - what factors are involved to this.
