Presentation Description / Summary: Presentation which will present advancements in the use of orthovoltage radiation therapy for the treatment of pets with cancer and inflammatory disease. We will discuss the practical differences between megavoltage and orthovoltage radiation therapy and how real time imaging and robotic technology allows lower energy x rays to be used safely and effectively. This novel treatment delivery system is mobile and can be used to treat the majority of solid tumors seen by veterinary oncologists. It can also be used to treat inflammatory diseases. Recent case examples will be included.
