Carla Giuditta Vecchiato attained the title of European Specialist in Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition (ECVCN) in 2024. She is an adjunct professor in the Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences at the University of Bologna. Her research focuses on nutritional strategies aimed at modulating the gut microbiota and supporting the management of small‑animal diseases. She also serves as a board member of the European Society of Comparative Gastroenterology (ESCG).
