Emmelyn Hsieh is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She obtained her veterinary degree at UC Davis, after which she completed a small animal rotating internship at the University of Minnesota. She then returned to UC Davis for her residency in small animal internal medicine and stayed on afterwards to participate in a small animal clinical infectious diseases fellowship. She is board certified in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Her clinical and research interests include infectious diseases of dogs and cats, antimicrobial stewardship, as well as lower urinary tract disease.
