Dr. Shaw 1998 graduate of the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and completed a rotating internship at the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk CT before returning to Tufts to complete a residency in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine. In 2014 he became the Regional Medical Director for the VCA Specialty Hospitals in the Northeast. He is currently VCA’s Vice President for Quality and Patient Safety. Dr. Shaw lives in Woodstock, CT with his wife and son. They breed and show Labrador retrievers and standard dachshunds and have 3 mini donkeys.
