Sheena spent several years in mixed practice, before completing a residency in Small Animal Medicine, gaining diploma qualifications with ECVIM and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. After many years as a clinical teacher, she shifted her focus to educational leadership. She is currently Deputy Head of Bristol Veterinary School in the UK, Academic Director for Teaching Excellence for the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, and co-leads AAVMC's Spectrum of Care Initiative Working Group
