Mark is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (large animal) and a principal fellow of the UKs Higher Education Academy; their highest award for innovation and leadership in higher education. He has a Masters degree in Medical Education, where he developed psychometric expertise in novel assessment methods in undergraduate assessment. He has worked in mainstream academia most of his career before joining EBVS as its director of education. In that role he works with European specialist colleges to develop assessment strategies and deliver assessment strategies that are aligned to best practice.
