Francesca Del Baldo, DVM, PhD, Dip. ECVIM-CA (Internal Medicine), is an Assistant Professor at the University of Bologna and Head of Internal Medicine at its Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She graduated from the University of Bologna in 2014, completed a PhD on canine diabetes mellitus in 2019, and became a European Veterinary Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 2022. Her main clinical and research interests include endocrinology. Author and co-author of scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals, as well as chapters in internationally distributed books. Dr. Del Baldo is a board member of the European Society of Veterinary Endocrinology and of the Italian Society of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
