Dr. Marie-Claude Blais is a Professor of Small Animal Internal Medicine at the Université de Montréal and Director of its blood bank. She trained at Tufts University and completed a fellowship in transfusion medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She is known for her work on the Dal blood group and new feline blood types. Dr. Blais is dedicated to advancing transfusion medicine - from safe donor recruitment to solving complex compatibility challenges in dogs and cats.
