Dr. Marie-Claude Blais is a Full Professor of Small Animal Internal Medicine at the Université de Montréal and Director of the CHUV Small Animal Blood Bank. She completed her SAIM residency at Tufts University and a fellowship in transfusion medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Internationally recognized for discovering the canine Dal blood group and identifying new feline blood types, Dr. Blais is dedicated to advancing transfusion medicine - from safe donor recruitment to solving complex compatibility challenges in dogs and cats. She particularly enjoys sharing this passion and strives to make it as engaging and valuable as possible.
