Joseph Bruner, DVM, DACVIM (SA-IM)

Dr. Joseph Bruner was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and discovered his passion for veterinary medicine during undergraduate zoology studies. He earned his DVM from The Ohio State University in 1992 and completed a small animal internship at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, followed by a residency in internal medicine at Purdue University. Board-certified by the ACVIM, he founded the Greater Cincinnati Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Services in 1999. After 25 years in specialty practice, he returned to academia, combining his expertise in respiratory and diagnostic medicine with a deep commitment to clinical teaching and mentorship.
