Dr. Cooper Brookshire is a faculty member at Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. He is board-certified in Veterinary Preventive Medicine, Veterinary Epidemiology, and in ABVP Canine and Feline Practice. His career is focused on advancing understanding of antibiotic-resistant pathogens and improving clinical strategies to prevent and manage these infections. His clinical, research, and teaching interests include antimicrobial stewardship, antimicrobial resistance, epidemiology, One Health, clinical research to improve patient care, and biosecurity.
