Dr. Munashe Chigerwe is a Professor of Livestock Medicine and Surgery at UC Davis. He received his veterinary degree from the University of Zimbabwe in 2001. He completed an internship (2003-2004) and residency in Food Animal Medicine and Surgery (2004-2007), a Masters in Public Health (2007-2008), and a PhD (2004-2008) at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He completed a Masters in Veterinary Medical Education from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London in 2023. His research interests focus on dairy calf production and wellness among veterinary students.
