Dr. Cebra has been at Oregon State University for 28 years. He is best known for working with New World camelids, but has worked clinically and scientifically with a variety of large animal species. A particular area of interest is investigating and understanding the unique features of camelids, such as their diabetic-like system of energy metabolism or heavy-chain-only antibodies, and seeing if that information might have broader importance in veterinary medicine.
