Dr. Ailbhe King is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ruminant Medicine at North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. King received her Veterinary Medicine degree from University College Dublin, Ireland in 2015. Thereafter she spent some time in mixed animal practice before completing a residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine at UC Davis. She then worked as an Assistant Professor of Production Animal Medicine at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. While working at RUSVM she completed a Master’s through research where she investigated the effect of pooling colostrum on the transfer of passive immunity in dairy calves.
Dr. King’s research interests include but are not limited to calf health and veterinary education.
