Cherise Johnson, LVT, VTS (Cardiology) has over 12 years of experience working in Cardiology in specialty practice, with a background in leadership and training. She opened and built two successful Cardiology departments, which included appointment-based, emergency, and interventional therapies. Her areas of interest are electrocardiography, interventional therapy, and teaching. Currently, Cherise works at Old Growth Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care, and serves the Academy as a Cardiology Credentialing Committee co-chair. In her free time she enjoys concerts, hanging with her husband and son, and their dog Douglas.
