Cherise Johnson, LVT, VTS (Cardiology) has over 12 years experience as a Cardiology technician in specialty and emergency medicine, with a background in leadership and training. Over her career, she built two successful Cardiology departments from the ground up, centered on appointment-based and impatient treatment, as well as emergency and interventional therapies. Her areas of interest are electrocardiography, interventional therapy, and teaching. Currently, Cherise works at Old Growth Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care, and serves the AIMVT Academy on the Credentialing Committee. Historically, she has also been a mentor so upcoming VTS applicants. In her free time she enjoys going to concerts, paddleboarding, and spending time with her husband, son, and their dog Douglas.
