Dr. Serrano is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and specialises in gastroenterology and hepatology, with a focus on congenital liver diseases, including congenital portosystemic shunts. He holds a position as Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Lisbon, Portugal, and is currently completing his doctoral studies on “Treatment Options in Congenital Portosystemic Shunts” at Ghent University, Belgium.
