Dr. Venu (VAY-noo) Pillarisetty is a surgical oncologist and Professor of Surgery at the University of Washington and Fred Hutch Cancer Center. His main area of clinical practice is pancreatic surgery and his lab studies the tumor microenvironment of gastrointestinal cancers. Findings from his lab have provided preclinical data to support novel immunotherapy clinical trials.
