Dr. Sharon Witonsky is a board certified large animal internal medicine diplomate (DACVIM) with a doctorate in immunology (PhD). Her clinical and research interests include equine protozoal myeloencephalitis (EPM), other neurologic and infectious diseases, including Brucella, immunology and internal medicine. She is currently president of the EPM society and has been in the Large Animal Clinical Sciences Department at the Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, Virginia Tech since 2000.
