Dr. Amanda C. Trimble is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Equine Internal Medicine at Texas A&M University's Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. She holds a BVMS from the University of Glasgow and an MSc in Veterinary Education from the Royal Veterinary College, London. A board-certified specialist in Large Animal Internal Medicine (DACVIM-LA), she completed her residency and a Master's of Biomedical Science at Kansas State University before joining Texas A&M in 2020. Dr. Trimble is a clinical educator, heavily involved in curriculum development, student assessment, and resident mentorship. As a dedicated educator, she has focused her efforts on advancing evidence-based teaching methods, enhancing clinical rotations, and contributing to institutional wellness initiatives.
