Antonio Maria Tardo is Assistant Professor of Small Animal Internal Medicine at the University of California, Davis. He graduated with honors from the University of Bologna, where he later completed a Rotating Internship, the European Residency Program in Small Animal Internal Medicine, and a PhD in Small Animal Endocrinology (2025). He is an EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine and serves as a board member of the European Society of Veterinary Endocrinology (ESVE) and as Associate Editor of the Journal of Small Animal Practice (JSAP). His research focuses on small animal endocrinology, with publications in international peer-reviewed journals and contributions to several book chapters.
