Dr. Jean-Yin Tan is an equine internal medicine specalist, former practice owner, and has an MBA. She graduated from Cornell University in 2005, completed a large animal residency and fellowship, and owned a specialty practice in Upstate New York before joining University of Calgary in 2015, where she is now an Associate Professor of Teaching. She is a recipient of Vet Candy's Veterinary Inspiration Award, University of Calgary's Teaching Award for Educational Leadership, and Calgary's Top 40 Under 40.
