I graduated from Cabridge Univestiry and after working in private practice, became fascinated by cardiology, talking my RCVS Certificate in Cardiology in 1990 and my ECVIM Diploma with the University of Liverpool in 2009. I became adviser to the Cavalier Club in 1990 working with them to develop and refine their breed program until I left for the University of Florida in 2014 where I was head of cardiology. Having returned to the UK in 2021, I continue clinical work, lecture and train interventionalists.
