Dr. Jackie Wypij is a board-certified veterinary oncologist with over 20 years of experience in both academic and clinical practice. She earned her DVM from Cornell University and completed her advanced training at Kansas State University and the University of Illinois, with a brief period in emergency medicine. Dr. Wypij remained on faculty at the University of Illinois before transitioning to private practice in Atlanta, Georgia, where she has been based for the past nine years. In addition to her oncology expertise, she was a licensed counselor with advanced training in grief counseling, thanatology, acupuncture, and herbal medicine, reflecting her holistic and compassionate approach to patient care.
