Dr. Carlson received his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania, and then completed his rotating and cardiology internships in New York City. He went on to complete a cardiology residency at Texas A&M University. Dr. Carlson is the founding cardiologist and medical director of The Animal Cardiology Center (TACC), New York City's premier veterinary cardiology-only practice.
