Anne Hendrikx obtained her veterinary degree in 2019 and became a Diplomate of the European College of Equine Internal Medicine in 2026. She combines clinical practice with research, focusing on the critical evaluation of systemic and local glucocorticoid use in horses to optimize treatment efficacy while minimizing the risk of side effects. In 2025, she was awarded the Luis Monreal Award at the ECEIM congress in Liverpool, which gave her the opportunity to present her work at the ACVIM Forum in Seattle.
