Kelly Wiggen is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Cardiology at the University of Missouri and diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Cardiology). She earned her DVM at the University of Illinois in 2015 and subsequently completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Aurora Animal Hospital, a specialty cardiology internship at VCA Animal Specialty and Emergency Center, and a cardiology residency at the University of Missouri. She lives in Columbia, Missouri, with her husband and two children. Her primary interests include congenital cardiac disease and pulmonary hypertension, and she enjoys playing a role in training the next generation of veterinarians.
