Originally from South Africa, Brogan earned her veterinary degree from the University of Pretoria in 2013. After experience in general and referral practice, she returned to academia, completing a Small Animal Internal Medicine residency in 2021, earning her MMedVet and ECVIM Diplomate status in 2022. She then moved to the UK to pursue a Cardiology residency at the Royal Veterinary College, completing her MVetMed and becoming an ACVIM Diplomate in 2025. She is now a cardiothoracic perfusion fellow at the Queen Mother Hospital for Small Animals, integrating medicine and cardiology. Her interests include improving heart failure management, predicting mitral valve repair outcomes, and advancing multidisciplinary peri-operative care.
