Raphaël is the Senior Scientific Director at Kingdom, studying bacteria and their fermentates to design probiotic and postbiotic compositions to improve companion animal health. He's worked at Kingdom for 4 years, and now leads the discovery work from in vitro assay development and high throughput screening to clinical testing in companion animals. He earned his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University. He then completed postdoctoral training at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, at Janelia Research Campus (Howard Hughes Medical Institute), and at the University of Oxford.
