Álan G. Pöppl, DVM, MSc, PhD (he/him/his)

Prof. Álan G. Pöppl is a Brazilian DVM that completed a residency in Small Animal Clinic and Surgery (2006), and earned a Master's degree in Physiology with emphasis on Endocrinology and Metabolism (2009). He holds a PhD in Veterinary Sciences (2012), is a Founding Member, former Vice-President, and current Scientific Director of ABEV (Brazilian Association of Veterinary Endocrinology). Currently, he is an Associate Professor I in the Department of Animal Medicine and Permanent Advisor of the Postgraduate Program in Veterinary Sciences at UFRGS, working in Research, Extension, and Teaching at the undergraduate, residency and postgraduate levels. He is a CNPq (PQ-C) productivity fellow and coordinator of the Veterinary Endocrinology and Metabolism Service from UFRGS;
