Dr. Connie Rojas is a Senior Scientist at Animal Biome, where she investigates the impact of prebiotics and probiotics on the gut and oral microbiomes of cats and dogs. She has published research on microbiome modulation following FMT, the stability of the canine fecal microbiome across years, and microbiome dysbiosis in cats with stomatitis or oral carcinoma. At Animal Biome, she leads field trials evaluating next-generation probiotics and their effects on pet gut health. Dr. Rojas’s microbiome expertise also extends to horses, wild herbivores, and soil and aquatic environments.
