After earning a degree in Life Sciences from McMaster University, Dr. Kahlon moved to the Cayman Islands to attend St. Matthew’s University School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his 4th-year clinical rotations at Iowa State University, then went on to complete a small-animal rotating internship at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic in 2021. Before starting his small-animal internal medicine residency at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023, he worked as an emergency clinician and in primary care in the Toronto area. In his spare time, he likes to travel the world and spend time with his dog, Lilah.
