Jane Hua-Chen Huang earned her DVM and MS in Veterinary Clinical Science from National Taiwan University (Taipei, Taiwan). Following graduation, she joined the University of Georgia (UGA) to pursue a PhD in Comparative Biomedical Sciences under the supervision of Dr. Bianca Lourenço. She also completed the Bioinformatics Graduate Certificate Program offered by the UGA Institute of Bioinformatics in May 2025.
Jane’s research is highly interdisciplinary, integrating her background in veterinary medicine with biomedical science and bioinformatics. Her work encompasses clinical studies, immunoassay development, and omics data analysis, with a particular focus on proteomic and urinary biomarkers of kidney disease.
