Adrien graduated in 2019 from Alfort's national veterinary school (Paris, France). He completed a rotating internship there and an internal medicine internship in the south of France (CHV Languedocia, Montpellier, France) as well as an ECVIM-CA residency at the University College Dublin (Dublin, Ireland). He has completed his professional doctorate on the effect of hypercortisolism on bone in dogs during his residency.
He is now working as a small animal internal medicine clinician/lecturer and ICAT (Irish Clinical Academic Training) Veterinary fellow in UCD. He is currently starting his PhD assessing interspecies and individual sensitivity to glucocorticoids, comparing human and canine physiology and using dog breeds as a model to identify genetic predisposition to such sensitivity.
