Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Bologna in 2016. After an experience in general practice in the UK, he completed a rotating and then a cardiology-specific internship at Southfields Veterinary Specialists.
In 2022, he completed a Master of Science by Research, awarded with merit, at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, The University of Edinburgh. He is currently completing a PhD in Veterinary Sciences at the University of Bristol, with a project focusing on endothelial glycocalyx damage and endothelial dysfunction in dogs with myxomatous mitral valve disease.
