Amanda graduated from Murray State University with a degree in Animal Technology/Veterinary Technology in 2016. She has built a career in both small and large animal medicine, including emergency and specialty services, as a registered veterinary technician. She earned a Master of Animal Science in 2023 before entering into the Comparative Biomedical Sciences (Neurosciences) PhD program at North Carolina State University.
