Kate is originally from Charleston, South Carolina and attended veterinary school at the University of Georgia. After completing a small animal rotating internship at the University of Florida last year she went on to work as a cardiology research intern at Tufts University. This summer she'll be starting her cardiology residency at the University of Florida.
