Katie Mullen is a Veterinary Postdoctoral Fellow in the Translational and Integrative Sciences Lab (TISLab) at the UNC-Chapel Hill Department of Genetics and an Equine Internist at Littleton Equine Medical Center in Littleton, Colorado. Her research focuses on creating standards for veterinary data and performing novel linkages between veterinary and human electronic health record data with the goal of improving One Health. Katie was a recipient of the NIH Building Interdisciplinary Careers in Women’s Health postdoctoral fellowship. She completed her MS in Agricultural Economics, DVM, and residency at Cornell University. She is board-certified in Large Animal Internal Medicine and has clinical experience in private specialty practice and academia.
