Dr Christmann is a professor of Equine Internal Medicine at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee. She studied surfactant alterations in equine asthma as part of her PhD. She continued to investigate lipidomic alterations in surfactant and plasma from asthmatic horses in her current position.
