Ruth is a European- and American-boarded specialist in small animal internal medicine and is a faculty member at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), where she co-leads the Small Animal Internal Medicine Service. She has a particular interest in the epidemiology, pathophysiology and treatment of diabetes mellitus in cats, particuarly therapies which increase the chance of diabetic remission. She has been a lead investigator in several clinical trials examining novel therapies for feline diabetes, including the trial she will be presenting in today's abstract.
