Catherine graduated from the University of Bristol in 2018. After 2 years in general practice, she undertook a rotating internship at a private hospital and thereafter a medicine specific internship at the University of Cambridge. She began her residency at University College Dublin in September 2022 and achieved ECVIM-CA diplomate status in March 2026. She is due to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medical Specialisation (DVMS) at University College Dublin in September 2026. Her research focuses on feline and canine hepatobiliary diseases.
