Sophie J. Karchemskiy, DVM (she/her/hers)

Dr. Sophie (Sonya) Karchemskiy is a third-year resident in small animal internal medicine at Tufts University. She received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Princeton University in 2015. Following graduation, Dr. Karchemskiy served as a veterinary assistant in the Israeli Air Force. She then received her veterinary degree from the University of California, Davis, in 2022 and completed a rotating internship at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center in 2023. Her research interests include extracorporeal therapy and immune-mediated disease.
