Tine graduated from the TiHi Hannover (Germany). Following her dissertation and an internship (Université de Liège, Belgium) and a few years in private practice, Tine completed an ACVIM residency at the University of Illinois becoming an ACVIM-LA and ECEIM diplomate. She was the internal medicine clinician at the Tierklinik Lüsche (Germany) before moving to South Africa to work as a Senior Lecturer in Equine Internal Medicine at the University of Pretoria while simultaneously undertaking PhD research on African Horse Sickness. Tine is now a Senior Lecturer in Equine Internal Medicine at the University of Glasgow in the UK.
Tine has particular interest in infectious diseases and critical care as well as gastrointestinal and neonatal patients.
