Antonio Maria Tardo graduated with honors from the University of Bologna. After completing a Rotating Internship in Small Animal Internal Medicine, he pursued a European Residency Program in Small Animal Internal Medicine and a PhD in Small Animal Endocrinology at the University of Bologna, both completed in 2025. He is an EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine.
His main research interests are internal medicine, with a focus on small animal endocrinology. He serves as a board member of the European Society of Veterinary Endocrinology (ESVE). He has authored and co-authored publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals, as well as book chapters.
