Dr. Alex Safian is a Small Animal Internal Medicine resident at Oregon State University with clinical and research interests in chronic disease management, including gastrointestinal disease, bone marrow disorders, and the microbiome. He completed his veterinary training at Virginia Tech, followed by a rotating internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals, where his passion for complex case management and evidence-based medicine was solidified. Dr. Safian is dedicated to advancing patient care through research and collaboration with referring veterinarians.
