Presentation Description / Summary: Aspiration pneumonia is common problem in dogs. This session will discuss advances in the management of dogs with aspiration pneumonia, and issues of treatment times and approaches will be debated. Although less frequently diagnosed in cats, compared with dogs, aspiration pneumonia should remain a differential diagnosis in this species and an overview of reports of feline aspiration pneumonia will also be presented.
